About
Bonjour à tous et à toutes! Bienvenidos y bienvenidas! I am Rhona Kappler (MA, MSc), a freelance translator and interpreter based in Lyon, France, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. I provide professional translations, proofreading, subtitling and interpreting services from Spanish and French into English.
With an MA Hons degree in French & History of Art and a master’s (MSc) in Translation including a diploma in Public Service Interpreting, I specialise in translations for the museum, tourism and cultural sectors, providing translated texts for exhibitions, film festivals and more. I also regularly work in the domain of audiovisual translation, providing subtitling services for a number of agencies and major companies.
Rayo is based on three principles: speed, fluency and cultural sensitivity. I take special care to provide a high quality of writing to all of my clients, making sure you reach your target culture effectively.
